Musical Theatre Rehearsal

Good Afternoon,

A gentle reminder of our Sister Act and Finding Nemo Rehearsal. Where we will be working on the musicals. For our Dagenham branch, when not needed you will be joining your normal classes with Rhianna, Caitlin and Ella as normal.

We have a guest teacher, Mr Matt Jewson who will be joining us to work with the students on character development as well as acting through song.

The stuff we will be covering on Saturday will be the following:

• Stuff we have already set in both Finding Nemo and Sister Act Musicals.

• Zoe-Marie Song “Here within these walls” with Matt and Sel

• Take me to Heaven (Nun Choir Version) with Sel

• Sunday Morning Fever Part 2 with Sel

• Take me to Heaven (Newscast) with Sel

• All students will be working with Matt to develop their characters

• Fabulous Baby just vocals (Mica) with Matt.

• Lady in the Long Black Dress with Sel

• Olivia W “Wheres my Dad” with Matt and Sel

• First Fish tank scene to include Nemo with Sel Page 36 - 46

• Moonfish Scene (page 54) with Dory and Marlin

• Just Keep swimming part 2 with Jellyfish ensemble (Colchester Branch) with Sel

• Scene 7: the Pump is Off with Sel

• Not my Dad song with Sel and Matt

• Matt with be working on the Australian accent with those needing the Australia accent.

• Matt with be working on the American accent with those needing the American accent.

• Matt will be working on the physicality of becoming their creatures.

We have a jam packed rehearsal with lots to do. We will also be taking updated headshots for the programme so please ensure you are in your Donovan’s T-shirt with hair slicked back

Pack lunch is essential please ensure you pack no nuts or kiwi due to allergies.

All students will need their:

• Scripts

• Pencil

• Jazz shoes (Sister Act students need their New Yorkers)
